Elves are a very widespread race in Odiem. They are descended from the arimpheans who followed in the steps of Phrenia, and went to live in Arofea. They are the moon counterparts to humans. Despite having originated in Arofea, they have travelled all across the world, and now can be found in both continents, with many different cultures. One of the first elven groups to have arrived in Gallea were the Vien people.
Elves are medium sized humanoids, their average height varyig greatly between regions. The shortest population reach about 1.50m on average, while the tallest can reach 1.80m. They have pointed ears, and are adapted to see in darkness. Their eyes appear to glow when in the dark
They generally have light colored hair, the most common colors being light blonde and silver. There are elves with dark hair too, although it is less common. Their skin tone can vary from pale to dark brown, similar to humans. They cannot bear natural markings on their skin, however many elves will tattoo their bodies, or paint them.
Elf skin is slighly colder to the touch than a human's. Many elves prefer to live in warmer climates, although there are populations who make their home in colder regions.
Their lifespan is of about 200 years, some individuals surpassing that mark.
